Penza diver became seventh on three-meter springboard in Australia

Penza, 12 October 2012. PenzaNews. Penza athlete Nikita Shleykher took the seventh place in three-meter-springboard diving at the World Championship among juniors and young men in Australia on the fifth day of the event, October 12.

According to data published at the official website of the competition, the Russian athlete Ilya Molchanov became fifth.

The first two places were taken by the Chinese athletes Yan Hao and Li Pingan, and the Australian Joshua Kehagias won the bronze medal.

As reported earlier, four Penza athletes perform at the World Junior Championship — Igor Myalin, Ilya Kuzmin, Nikita Shleykher, and Olga Kulemina.

In addition, Russia is represented by Volgograd athlete Maxim Popkov, Yevgeny Seleznev and Kristina Ilinykh from Ekaterinburg, Ekaterina Petukhova, Yuliya Timoshinina and Maria Polyakova from Moscow, Daria Govor and Ilya Molchanov from Elektrostal, as well as Voronezh athletes Elena Chernykh and Ekaterina Ukolova.
