Three Penza rugby players to perform at the European Championships in Russian team

Penza, 26 October 2012. PenzaNews. Three Penza athletes are included into the final composition of the Russian national team made up of players no older than 19 years, which will participate in the European Rugby Cup in Lisbon.

According to the spokesman of Rugby Club “Imperiya” (Empire) Andrei Demin, Mikhail Smagin, Roman Khodin and Ilya Fomin will play for the national team.

“The first match Russians will hold against Portugal on Saturday, October 27. On October 29, they will meet with rugby team from Belgium, and on November 3 they will have a play-off,” he explained.
