According to the Deputy Chairman of the regional sports committee Vladimir Zhuchkov, it is assumed that the club will be in the first place a community of experts ready to evaluate the effectiveness of measures for the development of tourism in the region.

“The journalists who deal with these problems are aware of the tourism potential of the region no less than us, which is why it is important to get feedback and generate joint proposals,” the interlocutor of the agency stated.

Vladimir Zhuchkov noted that at the first meeting, which is scheduled for Wednesday, November 14, the format of the organization, its goals and objectives would be discussed.

“In the future we are planning to hold the meetings not in the regional sports committee building, but at touristic sites — camp sites or museums — according to the discussed topics. Such trips are suggested to be taken at least once a quarter,” he emphasized.

The Deputy Chairman of the regional sports committee expressed hope that an intellectual club could be created in Penza, the members of which would be able to discuss issues of tourism development in the region.
