Penza, 18 December 2012. PenzaNews. The funds, which the Penza region will get from the federal budget for the school sports contest in 29 sports in 2013, will enable us to upgrade sports facilities. This was stated by the governor Vasily Bochkarev during a meeting with the regional leading media journalists on Tuesday, December 18.

“Moreover, we will gain the experience of holding a competition of this level, and attract tourists. Sports contest means half a month of bustle for sports officials, but it is necessary, this is life,” the head of the region noted.

Vasily Bochkarev also pointed out that the school sports contest will be held in the Penza region for the third time.

“While this is not such a significant event like, for instance, the University sports contest in Kazan, they still hold a competition for the right to host it,” the governor of Penza underlined.
