Penza, 7 February 2013. PenzaNews. XXXI open all-Russian mass race “Ski Track of Russia” will take place in the cities and areas of the Penza region on Sunday, February 10.

In 2013, the main activities of one of the largest winter sports events will be held in Zarechny.

“The race for the athletes will start at 11:00 am at the intersection of Akhunskaya St and Svetlaya St, and at 12.10 they will be replaced by the amateur skiers. Along with competitions, a concert program will be organized for the citizens. Awarding ceremony and grand closing of competitions are scheduled for 13.00,” the department of public relations of Zarechny told news agency “PenzaNews.”

According to the regional sports committee, in Penza the race will be held in Olimpiyskaya Alleya.

“Ski-track of Russia – 2013” will take place in 71 subjects of the Russian Federation.

The race will be held at three distances of 5 and 10 km, and a VIP- race at 2,14 km.

The citizens of Russia and foreign countries without age restrictions are welcome to participate in competitions. The winners will be awarded with medals, diplomas and prizes of the Ministry of Sports of Russia.

In 2013, the first electronic registration for “Ski Track of Russia – 2013” was opened in Omsk, St. Petersburg, Yakhroma, Nizhny Tagil, Moscow, Saransk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Nizhny Novgorod, and Kemerovo.
