Regional rally cross competitions held at “Virazh” racetrack in Penza

Penza, 4 March 2013. PenzaNews. Open regional rally cross competitions with over 30 racers from Tambov, Saransk, Lipetsk, Bronnitsy, Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh, and Moscow were held at “Virazh” racetrack in Penza on Sunday, March 3.

The winners were determined in five groups — “Volga,” “D2N,” “Classics,” “D1A,” and “D2-Junior.”

At the end of the final races in “Volga” group, a racer from Nizhny Novgorod Andrei Chesnokov became the winner, the second and third places were taken by Andrei Bazhenov from Tambov and Stanislav Dumshev from Penza.

Mikhail Donchenko from Tambov won in “D2N” group, Alexander Samsonov from Penza and Vlasta Garbuzova from Voronezh came second and third respectively.

The leader of “D1A” group became Alexander Samsonov from Penza, followed by Alexei Demyanov from Penza and Mikhail Donchenko from Tambov.

The gold medal in “Classics” went to Andrei Artemov from Tambov, silver and bronze went to Eugeny Tochilin and Alexander Kedrov from Bronnitsy respectively.

Among the young participants competed in Oka cars, Stepan Borisov from Voronezh came first, silver and bronze winners became Georgy Baklykov from Tambov and Daniil Moskalev from the Moscow region.
