“The last rally-cross competition at “Virazh” racetrack in early March showed that Penza residents like motor sports and are willing to attend it with their families,” he said.

Vasily Bochkarev added that a new 3-kilometer-long gravel driveway would be constructed from Nizhny Lomov to the racetrack together with a parking lot.

“It is also advisable to consider the possibility of reconstruction of “Virazh” racetrack, which may become the center of motor racing competitions of the highest level,” the governor concluded.
