Carriage-and-three from Vologda wins championship in equestrian sport “Penza winter”

Penza, 11 March 2013. PenzaNews. Carriage-and-three from Vologda steered by Alexei Chistyakov became the ultimate winner of the winter championship of Russia in equestrian competition “Penza Winter – 2013” held at the racetrack of “Zavivalovsky” stud-farm in Kamensky area.

As the press service of the government of the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews,” the competition also identified the owners of large and small cups.
“The small trophy went to Vadim Shlyapnikov’s carriage-and-three from Yaroslavl, and Alexei Chistyakov’s carriage from Vologda won the large cup. The second and third places went to Andrei Korchagin from Yaroslavl and Evgeny Morozov from Kostroma,” the press service reported.
According to the head of the region Vasily Bochkarev, the tradition of equestrian sport championships should be revived in the Penza region.
“Particular attention in this regard will be paid to “Zavivalovsky” stud-farm, and the development and implementation of a project supported by the business on equipping modern racetrack, which would allow hosting various competitions and championships,” he noted.
