Penza divers win silver at World Series in Beijing

Penza, 18 March 2013. PenzaNews. Athletes Ilya Zakharov and Yevgeny Kuznetsov performing for the Penza region in a parallel competition scored 430,32 points and won silver medals in synchronized diving from a three-meter springboard at the first stage of Diving World Series in Beijing on Sunday, March 17.

Moreover, Ilya Zakharov took the third place in individual diving from a three-meter springboard with 514,45 points.

Also in the same discipline among women, Penza athlete Nadezhda Bazhina stopped one step away from award scoring 306,60 points.

The second stage of Diving World Series 2013 will be held in Dubai on March 21–23, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reported.
