Russian Championship in mini-lapta moved from Chelyabinsk to Penza

Penza, 22 March 2013. PenzaNews. Russian Championship in mini-lapta, which was to be held in Chelyabinsk, will be set in Penza.

As the press secretary of the Penza area in physical culture and sports Yuliya Volkonitina told news agency “PenzaNews,” this decision was made by the organizers of competitions after the meteorite explosion.

“The championship will be held in the sports and recreation center of Penza State University of Architecture and Construction on Saturday, March 23,” the agency interlocutor noted.

She added that the director of the department of summer sports of the Ministry of Sports of Russia Grigory Kabelsky and the vice-president of the Russian federation of lapta Dmitry Dorosh will participate in the opening ceremony of the championship.
