Regional championship in weightlifting to be held in Penza on March 30

Penza, 26 March 2013. PenzaNews. The Penza region championship in weightlifting for men and women starts in the hall of the Olympic Reserve School on Saturday, March 30.

“Over 50 athletes from Penza, Kuznetsk, and Zarechny are to participate in the competition. They will compete in ten weight categories. The winners will be identified by the highest score in two exercises: burst and jerk,” the chief expert of professional and amateur sports of the regional sports committee Natalia Kuznetsova told news agency “PenzaNews.”

According to her, the information about the championship winners will be published on the official website of the Olympic Reserve School.
