Penza, 27 March 2013. PenzaNews. The Russian team which has six rugby players from Penza — Artem Eremin, Konstantin Volkov, Denis Semenov, Yevgeny Nikitin, Vadim Zharkov, and Nikita Sbotov, reached the final of the European Championship among young men under 18 years old, after the victory over the team of Poland.

The play-off held at French Grenoble ended with score 25:12 in favor of the Russian team.

Vadim Zharkov, Artem Eremin, Yevgeny Nikitin, and Nikita Sbotov from Penza were on the field. The latter two were replaced in the second half of the game, and the rest played until the end.

The final match of the European Championship will be held next Friday, March 29. The rivals of the Russians will be the Spanish players, reported the Internet service “Penza-Sport.”
