Penza, 16 May 2013. PenzaNews. About 840 students aged 11–13 will participate in the relay race on the International Children’s Day, to be held in Olimpiyskaya Alleya in Penza on Saturday, May 18.

According to the press service of the city administration, for the first time in the history of the competition, it will also involve family teams of five people — parents, grandparents and children.

“Eight families have already filled out the application,” the mayor’s office noted.

Penza administration added that the winners would be awarded with free entry passes to amusement park in the central Park of Culture and Recreation named after V. Belinsky.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, the managers of trading and public catering organizations located in Lermontova St were recommended to bound the retail sale of alcoholic beverages, including beer, and tobacco products during the relay race.
