Vitaliy Borisov came fourth at “Mare Nostrum 2013” in Barcelona

Penza, 13 June 2013. PenzaNews. Penza swimmer Vitaliy Borisov came fourth at the second stage of the Mediterranean International Tournament “Mare Nostrum 2013” in Barcelona.

His result at a 50-meter backstroke distance was 25,58 seconds.

Gerhard Zandberg from South Africa won gold with 25,14 seconds. Silver went to Ashwin Wildeboer Faber from Spain with the result of 25,33 seconds, and Jonathan Kopelev from Israel won bronze scoring 25,47 seconds.

On the first day of competition the Russians won total of five medals: one silver and four bronze, obtained by Evgeny Lagunov, Valentin Artemyev, Nikita Konovalov, Nikolay Skvortsov and Irina Novikova, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reported.
