Penza, 14 June 2013. PenzaNews. Penza swimmer Vitaly Borisov won bronze at the second stage of the Mediterranean International Tournament “Mare Nostrum 2013” in Barcelona.

His result at a 100-meter distance backstroke amounted to 55,10 seconds.

The gold medal went to Gareth Kean from New Zealand. Ashwin Wildeboer Faber from Spain came second.

Penza athlete Victoria Malyutina took the fifth place in a 200-meter distance medley, and one more representative of the region, Oleg Utekhin came seventh in a 50-meter breaststroke, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reported.
