Penza, 20 June 2013. PenzaNews. The Russian team of boys and girls won IV International Junior Tournament of the Baltic States and the CIS in gymnastics “Olympic Hopes,” which took place in Penza.

According to the results of team championship, boys scored 167,350 points. The second and third results belong to the gymnasts from Brazil and Turkey, who received 158,650 and 156,600 points, respectively.

The girls’ teams came in the same order. The best result was shown by Russian athletes — 110,631 points. The representatives from Brazil gained 106,364 points, and the gymnasts from Turkey scored 103,364 points.

In the individual championship in the all-around all three winning places were occupied by the Russian athletes — Ivan Stretovych, Artur Dalaloyan, and Kirill Potapov.

The Russian girls-athletes left no chance to the rivals as well — gold went to Ekaterina Sokova, silver — to Seda Tutkhalyan, and bronze was taken by Daria Spiridonova.
