Penza triathlete Alexander Bryukhankov is the best Russian at World Cup

Penza, 8 July 2013. PenzaNews. Alexander Bryukhankov, who plays for the Penza region and Moscow, showed the best result among Russian athletes finishing 27th at the Triathlon World Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria.

The athlete overcame the distance in 1 hour 16 seconds.

In the final report, Russians Artem Parienko and Denis Vasiliev were located on 30th and 46th positions.

British triathlete Alistair Brownlee won with the result of 55 minutes 23 seconds. Silver went to Spanish athlete Mario Mola, bronze — to Sven Riderer from Switzerland.

Competition included a 750 meter swim followed by a 11.5 km bike ride with 22-degree rise and 2.5 km run, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reported.
