Kazan, 12 July 2013. PenzaNews. Evgeny Kuznetsov and Ilya Zakharov performing for the Penza region won the gold medal in three-meter springboard synchro at XXVII World Summer Universiade in Kazan on Friday afternoon, July 12.

In the first six dives they scored 479,34 points and beat the Chinese couple Lin Jing and Luo Yutona by 21 points.

The third place went to Mexicans Yahel Castillo Huerta and Alejandro Islas who gained 426,78 points.

In the team competition Russian divers became second, being overpassed by the representatives from China, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reported.
