Penza, 31 July 2013. PenzaNews. 4,5 million rubles were allocated for sports clothing and equipment as a part of the sub-program “Training of Penza region athletes for XXXI Olympics in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, and development of Olympic sports.”

According to the decision of the regional government, a copy of which is available to news agency “PenzaNews,” one million rubles has been planned to be allocated for these purposes each year – in 2013, 2014 and 2016, and in 2015 – 1,5 million rubles.

In particular, purchasing of required equipment for the following sports is scheduled: swimming, triathlon, weightlifting and athletics, sports and gymnastics, diving and archery.

According to the text of the document, each year till 2015 the participants of the sub-program are to win at least 120 medals in national and international competitions.
