Penza, 24 August 2013. PenzaNews. “BlogPost” bloggers’ team managed to snatch the victory from “RNTI - Media Group Penza” team in the fourth summer bowling championship among the media representatives of the Penza region, organized by news agency PenzaNews with partner support of Rostelekom, which took place in karting club “Shikana” on Friday evening, August 23.
“RNTI - Media Group Penza” team, which was represented by employees of newspaper “Pro Gorod Penza,” catalog “Pod Klyuch,” and internet portal “Vpenze.ru” was clearly in the lead during the championship overpassing its opponents with a significant number of points.
However, in the final the bloggers were able to get together and show a better team result which allowed them not only to catch up with the leader, but also win overpassing the leading team by 6 points. As a result, “BlogPost” scored 1,677 points, and “RNTI - Media Group Penza — 1,671.
The third place went to the team of the regional newspaper “Penzenskaya Pravda” — “Pristup Paniki” [Panic Attack] — with the score 1,608 points. The employees of the newspaper demonstrated a smooth game throughout the tournament, reaching the third position during the second round of the championship.
The most effective player of the championship became a member of “RNTI - Media Group Penza” Ekaterina Antonova. She scored 558 points beating the strongest of opponents by 52 points.
Ekaterina Antonova received the grand prize of the championship from the general partner of the tournament Rostelekom — 10-inch tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab and a certificate for free use of “3G + Connect 7 GB” service for a year. In addition, the partner of the championship — Penza branch of Sberbank of Russia — presented her with a collector's album “Russia Commemorative coins of non-precious metal in honor of 200th anniversary of Victory in Patriotic War of 1812.”
The members of “BlogPost,” who won the championship, were awarded 32GB flash cards by the organizer of the tournament — news agency “PenzaNews.” In addition, Rostelekom encouraged the bloggers with soft toys “White Bear” released for Olympics 2014 in Sochi, and Sberbank of Russia presented branded umbrellas, books and souvenirs. Karting club “Shikana” gave the winners certificates for kart racing.
“RNTI - Media Group Penza,” taking the second place, was awarded 16GB flash cards by news agency “PenzaNews,” T-shirts with the symbols of Rostelekom, souvenirs from Sberbank of Russia, and certificates for one hour game of billiards in karting club “Shikana.”
The bronze medalist — “Pristup Paniki” [Panic Attack] received 8GB flash cards from the organizer of the championship, caps with symbols of Rostelekom, and souvenirs from Sberbank of Russia, as well as certificates for one hour game of bowling in karting club “Shikana.”
The participants of the championship, who did not manage to take any of the winning places —“Russia 1 – Penza” (State broadcasting company “Penza”), “Efiristy” ([Air-ists] united team of radio “Avtoradio,” “Gold FM,” and “Russian Radio”) and “Radio 101.8” (broadcasting company “Our House”) received recognition gifts — branded tea sets from Sberbank of Russia and souvenirs.
