Triathlete from Penza took sixteenth place at World Cup in Sweden

Penza, 26 August 2013. PenzaNews. Alexander Bryukhankov representing the Penza region and Moscow took the 16th place at the World Cup Triathlon in Stockholm, Sweden.

The distance included a 1,5-kilometer swim race, a 40-kilometer cycling race, and a 10-kilometer running race. The athlete covered the distance within 1 hour 47 minutes 6 seconds.

The best result among Russian athletes was shown by Dmitry Polyansky, who came 12th.

Englishman Alistair Brownlee won the title of the champion, his brother Jonathan Brownlee came third, and the silver medalist became Spaniard Javier Gomez, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reported.
