Penza swimmers win silver at Russian Swimming Cup stage at short course

Penza, 14 October 2013. PenzaNews. Penza swimmers got silver medals at the third stage of the Russian Swimming Cup at short course, which took place in Moscow.
The press secretary of the regional sports committee Elena Nikitina told news agency “Penza News” that Dmitry Gorbunov distinguished himself in the 400 meters medley swimming.
“One more silver medal went to our quartet Vitaly Borisov, Oleg Utekhin, Olga Klyuchnikova and Viktoria Andreeva. The swimmers showed the second result in the combined mixed 4x50 meters relay,” the agency interlocutor remarked.
She added that one more representative of the Penza team Victoria Malyutina stopped one step to the victory podium on the 4th place in the 400 meters medley.
“Representatives from more than 30 countries participated in the competition. Among them are the leaders of the overall standings after two European stages – South African athlete Chad Guy Bertrand le Clos and the swimmer from Hungary Katinka Hosszu,” Elena Nikitina said.
