Penza chess players competing in championship of Volga Federal District in Samara

Penza, 16 October 2013. PenzaNews. Penza chess players Marina Zhelobovskaya, Artem Petrukhin and Daniil Semin are taking part in the championship of the Volga Federal District in Samara.

According to the results of the first round, the athletes are taking the sixth line of the crosstable.

The representatives of ten teams from the Samara, Penza, Ulyanovsk, Saratov, Kirov, Orenburg regions, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Udmurtia and Mordovia are participating in the championship battles. Each of them consists of two athletes born after 1997 and one athlete born after 2000.

The competitions will last until October 20.

Last year Penza team won the championship of the Volga Federal District, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reported.
