The deputy chairman of the regional sports committee Vladimir Zhuchkov known across the country as a statesman, who lost his weight by order of the governor Vasily Bochkarev, will be temporary in charge of the professional hockey club “Diesel” as a crisis manager. This was stated by the deputy Prime Minister of the Penza region Vladimir Maltsev on Thursday evening, October 17.

He confirmed the information that Dmitry Koryagin left the position.

“The thing is that the executive director should be appointed by the Council of the Club, and now its composition is being changed. The current members have lost their interest in the club, and from now on people, interested in “Diesel” branding and promoting, will be members of the Council,” Vladimir Maltsev said.

He also remarked that the head coach of the team Andrei Sidorenko would be offered to lead the club.

Commenting on the large-scale officials’ attending the match in Penza between “Diesel” and “Dinamo” from Balashikha, which ended with the hosts’ victory with the score 1:0, the deputy chairman of the regional government noticed that “several hundred statesmen expressed their initiative to support the Penza team and buy tickets for the match.”

Along with that, as some sport fans claim, they witnessed that statesmen bought tickets by order of higher management that “gave directions on” what number of “supporters” from which department should visit the match.

The match between “Dinamo” and Penza “Diesel” was run by the former head coach of the team Vladislav Bulyin.
