In total 28 players will take part in the training session: 3 goalkeepers, 10 defenders and 15 forwards.
“We gathered everybody we wanted. I hope the last days remaining will be without any injuries,” the head coach of the Russian national youth team Mikhail Barnakov said.
He remarked that those hockey players he was not acquainted with before provoke special interest.
“These are, first of all, the defenders Dmitry Yudin and Gleb Koryagin. They have decent experience playing in SKA Saint Petersburg and Moscow “Dinamo” correspondingly. We will see they will prove themselves in the match with their peers. Regarding the absence of Daniil Zharkov, the forward from the Nizhny Novgorod “Torpedo,” and Pavel Koledov, the defender from the Yaroslav “Loko,” I am perfectly aware of their abilities. The task for the coaching staff now is to try other players in the real match,” the press service of Russian Hockey Federation quoted Mikhail Barnakov.
