Penza region team finishes 5th at Russian Rugby Championship

Penza, 1 November 2013. PenzaNews. The Penza region rugby team finished 5th at the Russian Championship among juniors born in 1997–1998, held in Taganrog.

Eight teams participated in the competition.

The winners are the trainees of the Krasnoyarsk sport school for children and young people “Enisei-STM.” Their compatriots from the club “Krasny Yar” got bronze medals. The team from Moscow became silver prizewinners.

The Russian Rugby Championship brought together more than 300 rugby players from 9 regions of the country, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reported.
