As it was reported to news agency PenzaNews by Sergey Garkin, one of the six fans, who managed to talk with the head of the region, Vasily Bochkarev promised to make an official statement concerning the future of “Diesel” very soon.

“He said that there will be not one person running the club, but a council that will sponsor it. The council is planned to consist of representatives of different Penza enterprises. Vasily Bochkarev suggested us setting up our own non-profit organization and on a voluntary basis collect money, thus helping the club. He hinted that Dmitry Koryagin was a corrupt official and that he together with Grigory Kabelsky [the former head of the regional sport committee and at present – the head of summer sport department and coordination of preparation for the Football World Championship of the Ministry of Sports of Russia] split the money back at the time. That was the answer,” Sergey Garkin said.

He added that, according to the governor, nobody sacked the head coach Andrey Sidorenko; he acted as a traitor.

Sergey Garkin remarked that the governor also shared the plans of the hockey development in Penza.

“The system “Youth Hockey League” – “Russian Hockey League” – “Supreme Hockey League” will be built. It means that a club for the Russian Hockey League will be created in Zarechny, so that the stadium keeps functioning. One more ice palace will be built in Arbekovo for the team of the Youth Hockey League, as promised a couple years ago. And also a coach for Penza will be looked for,” he explained.

Sergey Garkin added that the chairman of the regional committee of physical culture and sports Artur Panteleev also invited the fans for a meeting in his office on the coming Friday, November 8.

“When we were heading to the governor, Artur Panteleev stopped us, apparently he feared we would say something inappropriate. We are still thinking whether to have a meeting with him or not. Why listen to one and the same,” the hockey fan concluded.
