Penza swimmer Sergei Fesikov wins gold of Russian Championship in Kazan

Penza, 18 November 2013. PenzaNews. Penza swimmer Sergei Fesikov won the gold medal at the Russian Swimming Championship in Kazan.

The athlete showed the best result in the 50-meter free style, covering the distance for 21,29 seconds.

Victoria Andreeva and Dmitry Gorbunov also distinguished themselves at the competition; they won silver in 100 and 200-meter medley swimming.

The women’s team of Anastasia Dorodnykh, Victoria Andreeva, Olga Klyuchnikova and Victoria Malyutina took the third place in the combined 4x100 meters relay.

In addition, Dmitry Gorbunov took the third on the podium, following the results of 400-meter medley swimming race, and Victoria Malyutina was second in this discipline, thus getting the first medal for the Penza team, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reports.
