Denis Bashkirtsev from Penza participates in Gymnasiade in Brazil

Penza, 28 November 2013. PenzaNews. Penza track and field athlete Denis Bashkirtsev will take part in the fifteenth World Gymnasiade of school pupils, which is held in Brazil.

The athlete will run a distance of 3 km.

Gymnasiade is held among boys and girls born in 1996–1997. The events include track and field athletics, gymnastics, swimming, chess, judo and karate.

110 athletes represent Russia.

The competitions will last until Wednesday, December 4, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reported.
