Billiard player from Penza to participate in tournament with prize fund of 400 thousand euros

Penza, 11 December 2013. PenzaNews. 19-year-old master of sports Alexander Muravyov will take part in the qualifying round of the International Russian Billiard Tournament St. Petersburg Open, which starts in St. Petersburg on the coming Sunday, December 15.

Participants will compete in the discipline Dynamic Pyramid.

To get into the main draw Alexander Muravyov needs to be among 16 best billiard players in one of the three qualifying phases.

The participants passing the qualifying phase will be joined by 16 other people who got invitations to the tournament.

Thus, 64 athletes will compete in the final stage of the tournament.

The prize fund of St. Petersburg Open amounts to 400 thousand euros, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reports.
