Penza, 19 December 2013. PenzaNews. The Subway Super Series in Canada showed people’s special attitude to hockey. This opinion was expressed by the 19-year-old forward of the professional hockey club “Diesel” Georgy Busarov.

“After The Super Series I returned a different person. Canada opened for me a way to the new hockey world. I understood why all players strive to play in NHL,” he said.

The hockey player noted that the atmosphere during matches in Canada is different compared to Russia.

“I realized it during the first match I played. I felt like my feet almost sank in the ice. You hit the ice and everybody is shouting, it is a real show. And here, you play and people are sitting like in a theatre. They can shout something occasionally and that is it. And there the whole country live the hockey. It is constantly on TV. And not just one channel, but almost a half of all the channels. Ask anybody – they all watch hockey, they all are fond of it. That, obviously, impressed me greatly,” the athlete added.

Georgy Busarov expressed the wish for Russia to have something of the kind at the games.

“I believe that Canada is much ahead of us in this respect,” the service Allhockey.ru quotes the Penza athlete.
