Billiard player from Penza drops out of St. Petersburg Open tournament

Penza, 20 December 2013. PenzaNews. 19-year-old master of sports Alexander Muravyov finished his performance at the final stage of the International Russian Billiard Tournament St. Petersburg Open in the discipline Dynamic Pyramid in St. Petersburg.

In 1/8 final, he yielded to the honored master of sports from Kirgizia Kanybek Sagynbaev with a score 3:7.

Before this defeat, Alexander Muravyov was moving quite successfully along the draw of the tournament – in the first round, he beat Vladimir Averiyanov from St. Petersburg with a score 6:1, then re achieved victory in the game with Sergei Tuzov from Kemerovo with a score 6:4.

The prize fund of the competition is 400 thousand euros, with 64 athletes participating, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reports.
