Swimmer from Zarechny Roman Larin broke records at nationwide tournament “Nadezhda”

Penza, 6 February 2014. PenzaNews. Roman Larin from Zarechny, the Penza region set several new records at a national swimming tournament “Nadezhda” [Hope] in Orsk.
“This year, he broke his own record in 200-meter backstroke, the result improved by 2,5 seconds. In addition, Roman Larin made new tournament record in 100-meter backstroke and 100-meter medley, as well as two records in relay in the national team of the Regional Specialized Children’s and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve No. 8,” the press secretary of the regional sports committee Elena Nikitina told news agency “PenzaNews.”
She said that the swimmer from Zarechny was named the best athlete of the tournament.
In total the tournament was attended by 340 swimmers under 16 years old from the Orenburg, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Rostov, Penza, Moscow regions and Bashkortostan.
