Alexander Pronkov to participate in Paralympic semifinals with second best sprint time
Penza, 12 March 2014. PenzaNews. A 16-year-old native of Kozlovka village, Lopatinsky area, the Penza region, Alexander Pronkov came second in qualifications, sprint freestyle “Standing” at the Paralympic Games in Sochi.
In total, seven Russian skiers reached the semifinals. Sergei Lapkin showed the best results, Vladimir Lekomtsev came third. Good results were also achieved by Rushan Minnegulov, Kirill Mikhailov, Vladimir Kononov, and Azat Karachurin.
Another representative of the national team Ivan Kodlozerov did not manage to qualify. He came the thirteenth.
Semifinal races start at 12.51 on Wednesday, March 12. The finals will be held at 14.06.
