Penza, 3 April 2014. PenzaNews. Figure skating has become more popular in Penza due to Olympics in Sochi. This was reported by the president of the regional federation of figure skating, the head coach of Children's and Youth Sports School No. 3 Olga Markina.

According to her, figure skating was gaining popularity before the Games, but it was not so significant.

“Last year enrollment was good, we even held casting. As soon as the Olympic Games in Sochi started, we noticed another influx. We practically had second admission. People are still coming,” the Internet service “Penza-Sport” quoted Olga Markina.
