Penza volunteers to participate in swimming race “On healthy wave”

Penza, 4 April 2014. PenzaNews. Swimming race “On healthy wave” dedicated to the World Health Day was held at the palace of water sports “Sura” in Penza on coming Sunday, April 6.

It is expected that the event will be attended by volunteers who were involved during the XXVII World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan, the Olympic torch relay in Penza and XXII Winter Games in Sochi.

Honored master of sports of Russia, Olympic champion 2000, famous diver Igor Lukashin was invited as a special guest.

“There will be individual and team relay races. Then, all participants will have a free hour of swimming,” the representative of the youth center of the region.

The event will start at 13.00.
