Penza, 10 April 2014. PenzaNews. Penza gymnasts Ildar Yuskaev, Vitaly Vanifatov, Valentin Starikov, and Nikita Simonov as a part of the Volga Federal District team won silver of the championship of Russia, which started in the sports palace “Burtasy.”
The team also included Maksim Sinichkin from Tatarstan and Andrei Makolov from the Samara region.
According to the results of exercises on six items of sports equipment, the Volga Federal District team scored 404,960 points.
The gold medal went to Moscow team, which was represented by Artur Dalaloyan, Matvey Tsygankov, Maksim Ulyankin, Alexander Sychugov, Nikita Nagorny, and Dmitry Lankin. The gymnasts gained 406,828 points.
The third step of the podium belongs to the athletes from the Siberian Federal District — Alexander Bogatyrev, Nikita Letnikov, Kirill Kozin, Nikolai Shadurkin, Denis Yurov, and Kirill Potapov. Their result is 393,161 points, the Internet service “” reported.
