Penza, 13 June 2014. PenzaNews. Penza athletes were among the medalists of Russian championship in diving, which is taking place in Kazan.

“On the first day of competitions Penza diver Igor Myalin paired with Daria Govor from the Moscow region won gold in the team competition. In the same kind of program Penza athlete Nadezhda Bazhina paired with Artem Chesakov from Saratov won bronze,” the press service of sports training center of the region told news gaency “PenzaNews.”

They added that the second day of the championship became even more resultative — five medals.

“The competition in the three-meter springboard among men all three places went to our athletes — Ilya Zakharov, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and Igor Koryakin. In the meter springboard among women Nadezhda Bazhina took the first place, the second one went to Olga Kulemina,” the press service said.
