Penza, 18 June 2014. PenzaNews. Names of Penza Olympic athletes were engraved on commemorative coins “Russian athletes — champions and winners of the Games of XXX Olympics 2012 in London, which were issued by the Bank of Russia.

Silver coins of 50 and 100 rubles came in circulation, as well as a coin of base metal with value 10 rubles, on the back of which are the names of athletes who distinguished themselves in the Olympics in alphabetical order.

Among the names engraved on commemorative coins are athletes of the Penza region — Anastasia Bliznyuk, Ilya Zakharov, Anastasia Zueva, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Denis Ablyazin and Sergey Fesikov.

Each type of coins was issued in the amount of 500 pieces, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reported.
