Penza swimmers won 24 medals at home stage of Cup of Russia

Penza, 23 June 2014. PenzaNews. Penza athletes took the lead in the team standings at the seventh, home, stage of the Cup of Russia in swimming, which started at the palace of water sports “Sura” on Sunday, June 22.

Within two days, Penza residents won 24 medals.

Another Penza team took the eighth place. Its members won two awards.

The second and third places in the overall standings belong to the swimmers from the Vladimir and Arkhangelsk regions.

The competition was attended by over 250 people from 24 regions of the country, the Internet service “Penza-Sport” reported.
