Penza, 25 June 2014. PenzaNews. Participants of the European Triathlon Championship, which will be held in “Chistye prudy” on June 28-29, are arriving in Penza.

As the regional sports committee told news agency “PenzaNews,” the delegation from Spain arrived on June 25.

“On Thursday morning, athletes from Latvia, Portugal and Italy will arrive. During the day, teams from France and Turkey are expected, and in the evening the teams of Belgium, Austria, Luxembourg and Hungary are to come,” the department noted.

Another 11 teams (UK, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Estonia, Poland, Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Lithuania) will arrive on June 27.

“The Russian team is the largest. Four Penza athletes will perform as a part of the national team — Elena Danilova, Arina Shulgina, Anastasia Gorbunova and Ilya Prasolov,” the department added.
