Penza, 7 August 2014. PenzaNews. A penguin became a symbol of the junior diving world championship, which will be held in “Burtasy” sports palace in Penza on September 9–14.

“It was a well-considered choice. This is flightless waterfowl, which can dive perfectly, just like all the divers. The penguin has no name so far, but we are working on it,” the press service of the regional sports committee told news agency “PenzaNews.”

The department noted that all printed matter dedicated to the upcoming event is made in blue gamma, symbolizing water sports.
