Penza tennis player won silver on international tennis tournament for people with locomotive disabilities

Penza, 19 November 2014. PenzaNews. The Penza tennis player Irina Chelnokova won the silver medal of the international elimination tournament for people with locomotive disabilities that took part in France.
She and her teammate Alexandra Vasilyeva from Pskov lost to opponents from Britain and Israel. The third place was split between tennis players from Norway and the Netherlands.
Irina Chelnokova was fifth in individual competition.
“Over 150 sportsmen from Israel, the Netherlands, Russia, France, Britain, the US, Norway, Germany, Greece, Ukraine, Sweden, Brazil, Spain, Korea, Venezuela, Italy, Egypt, the Czech Republic and Argentina fought for the awards,” the press service of the regional sports committee told PenzaNews agency.
Irina Chelnokova is the Master of Sports in ping-pong, and the 2014 Champion of Russia.
She was selected to take part in elimination competition for the 2016 Special Olympics.
