Penza PE teachers went through Cheerleading 101

Penza, 1 December 2014. PenzaNews. Twenty Physical Education teachers, coaches of Penza children and youth sports schools, and instructors of sports and recreation centers participated in a seminar on cheerleading basics.
The seminar was hosted by the specialists from Moscow: Diana Ignatova, member of the Cheerleading Federation of Russia, head of training courses for coaches, Master of Sports in Rhythmic Gymnastics; and Marina Shemchuk, member of the Russian national cheerleading team.
They presented the audience with theoretical and practical material of cheerleading extracurricular activities that were recommended for the use in educational institutions by Moscow Department of Education.
According to the press service of the Penza region Ministry of Education, the participants became acquainted with the specifics of the training and the new trends in cheerleading and aerobics.
