Penza Kyokushinkai fighters earned gold and silver on European championship

Penza, 4 December 2014. PenzaNews. Students of Penza-based Kyokushinkai Karate club “Edo” won the medals of the European Kyokushinkai Open Championship in Bulgaria.

Alexander Grachev won the gold. He successfully held in three subsequent bouts against his opponents from Ukraine, Bulgaria, and his finale competitor from Russia.

Nikita Bezmaternykh took the second place after winning two bouts against his opponents from England and Bulgaria, but yielding to his compatriot in the final.

As the web-based service “Penza-Sport” reports, their coaches are Vladimir Sychin and Sergei Golitsyn.
