“The documents have been sent over to different institutions. An official act of commission has not been prepared yet,” Viktor Patkin, deputy head of capital construction management and technical supervision of construction and road infrastructure of the Penza region who supervising the project, told PenzaNews agency on Thursday, December 4.

He added that, presumably, the sports facility will be put in operation in 10-15 days.

According to information posted on the official website of the department of construction and road infrastructure in the region, the annual output of the project “Construction of the power martial arts palace in Penza” is 395 million rubles, of which 260 million rubles come from the regional budget, 135 million rubles from the federal one.

Capital investments for the first 10 months of 2014 was calculated at 326.4 million rubles, or 82% of the annual plan.

Technological equipment delivery is underway.

As PenzaNews agency reported earlier, the construction of Penza palace of martial arts on 40 Let Oktyabrya street was launched in May 2011. It was scheduled for completion in September 2013.

In July 2014, being at the construction site, Vasily Bochkarev, governor of the Penza region said that the opening ceremony of the new sports facility is scheduled for November 27.

On November 20, Valentin Klyachman, chairman of the regional sports committee, confirmed the planned date. According to him, the timing of the official opening of the palace has not been finally approved, but it is expected that the athletes and city residents will be able to attend it in January 2015.
