Penza hockey school student Ziyat Paygin won medals on international junior championship

Penza, 6 January 2015. PenzaNews. Ziyat Paygin, graduate of the Penza Olympic Reserve School, has won a silver medal along with the rest of his teammates in the Russian team in the international youth hockey championship that has recently ended in Canada.

During the finals, the team coached by Valery Bragin yielded to the home team with the end result of 4:5.

During the match, the Canadians managed to score a lot – 5:1. However, the Russians got a grip and shortened the gap, earning three more goals.

Despite that, they could not save the match, says online resource “Penza-Sport.”

The Russian youth team will return back home on Thursday, January 8. They will arrive at 15.50 to the Domodedovo airport of Moscow from the city of Frankfurt.
