“Ten people left: the goalkeeper Ivan Smolkin; the defenders Alexander Korotkov, Evgeny Krug, Azat Bayryev and Vasily Mironik; the midfielders Rais Sitdikov, Evgeny Pesegov and Sergei Egorov; the forwards Evgeny Gavryuk and Yuri Rodenkov. The situation with the midfielder Pavel Rozhkov is still unclear. These are very skilled players — right up there for the first league. The fans were fond of them, we needed them. Nobody was going to break them off, but that’s how it is now,” the coach said.

According to him, only 14 players will be involved in the training session before the spring session of the championship.

“We still have the captain of the team, the highly experienced defender Maksim Igoshin. There is also defender Artem Lednyov, midfielders Andrei Mamatyuk, Vitaly Komisov, Armen Aambartzumyan and Evgeny Zakharov, who frequently determined the creativity of our attacks. Ilya Kalashnikov — central midfielder — decided to stay. A defender Sergei Tuktarov is currently injured, but may soon return. A forward Denis Bulatov is growing professionally,” Sergei Filippenkov listed some of the players.

He specified that Penza “Zenit” budget 2015 has been set at 14 million rubles, compared to 27 million rubles a year ago.

“But we talk here about the city budget funds. Right now, we have no info on support our sponsor [ “Penzgorstroyzakazchik”] will provide. This will depend on its financial situation. The limits have been set but they are not approved yet,” the Internet service “Penza-Sport” quotes Sergei Filippenkov.
