Penza, 12 April 2015. PenzaNews. Ilya Zakharov, Evgeniy Kuznetsov and Nadezhda Bazhina, students of the Penza region sports preparation center, will take part in the 3rd stage of the FINA Diving World Series in Kazan on April 24-26.

The series will be the first events to take pert in the jump diving sports pool after its reconstruction for the summer world championship.

Ten Russian jump divers will take part in the race for the gold in Tatarstan.

In particular, the 3-meter dive will feature Ilya Zakharov and Evgeniy Kuznetsov in men’s events, while women’s events will involve the duo of Nadezhda Bazhina from Penza and Kristina Ilyinykh from Yekaterinburg.

Nadezhda Bazhina will also be performing in the individuals on the same stage, and in combined trampoline duos together with Victor Mininbaev from Elektrostal.

The team will go from Kazan to London for the 4th World Series stage in early May. Based on the report of the regional sports preparation center, it will feature the same athletes, except the duo of Nadezhda Bazhina and Kristina Ilyinykh.
