Penza hockey juniors won interregional championship bronze
Penza, 6 May 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza youth hockey team “Diesel” composed of players born in 2005 won the third place of the interregional championship held in Voronezh that was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.

Nikita Titov’s players took part in six matches with four victories and eight points.
The leading team of the championship came from the Bobrov city children and youth sports school, while “Buran” from Voronezh took the silver.
Ivan Sautin from “Diesel” was praised as the best defenseman of the tournament.
A team of Penza players born in 2006 also took part in a similar tournament in Ryazan.
Led by their coach Maxim Demkin, they won 12 points in seven matches with three losses.
“Diesel’s Kirill Sorokin was rewarded as the Best Shooter,” the regional hockey school informed PenzaNews agency.
